The Role

We are seeking a Supply Chain Consultant to partner with our logistics and operations teams. This is a strategic role for someone who understands global trade flows and can help us build resilient, cost-efficient, and tech-enabled supply chains across multiple industries.

As a Supply Chain Consultant at MOTIKO, you will:

• Analyze current supply chain operations and identify areas for efficiency, cost savings, and risk reduction.

• Design and implement end-to-end logistics strategies across air, sea, rail, and road.

• Support the development of MOTIKO TradeGrid and other digital platforms with supply chain expertise.

• Work with government partners, freight forwarders, and local operators to align on customs, compliance, and regulatory needs.

• Build models for demand forecasting, procurement, and inventory optimization.

• Advise on supplier management, risk mitigation, and sustainability initiatives.

• Provide expertise on scaling logistics hubs, from cold chain facilities to smart warehouses.

Qualifications

Must-Have:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or related field.

• 5+ years’ experience in supply chain consulting or logistics management.

• Proven expertise in procurement, transportation, and international trade compliance.

• Strong analytical skills, with comfort in supply chain modeling and ERP/SCM tools.

• Experience negotiating with suppliers and logistics partners.

Nice-to-Have:

• Background in agribusiness exports, air cargo, or emerging markets logistics.

• Knowledge of customs regulations in Africa, LATAM, or the Middle East.

• Familiarity with digital supply chain tools, AI-driven optimization, or blockchain-based trade platforms.

• Consulting firm experience (Big 4, global supply chain firms, or boutique strategy consultancies).
